Staurogyna is a compact, hardy, foreground plant with intensely green leaves. It was found in the Rio Cristalino river in the southern Amazon. Its closest species in the aquarium plant family is Hygrophila, but Staurogyne sp. it differs from it by its distinct, cohesive structure and small green leaves. When planting in an aquarium, longer vertical shoots should be cut. After this treatment, the horizontal shoots will form the base of a new plant and will gradually spread throughout the aquarium.
Remove the plant from the cup and rinse the gel thoroughly under running water. Then divide into small tufts (1-2 cm) and plant at a short distance. As it grows, it will form a uniform group of adult plants.
In vitro breeding plant - free from snails, parasites and algae. High quality gel was used as a medium, so it is accepted into the aquarium very quickly.
