Staurogyne Repens is a compact, resilient plant, ideal for the foreground of the aquarium. It was discovered in the Rio Cristalino river in Southern Amazonia, and is known for its intensely green leaves. While similar to Hygrophila, it differs with its distinct and cohesive structure and small green leaves. To encourage horizontal growth, it is recommended to cut the longer vertical shoots. This will stimulate the plant to grow new horizontal shoots that will gradually spread throughout the aquarium.
