MODERN REEF P- 1000ml – Phosphate Reducer for Reef Aquariums

MODERN REEF P- is an advanced lanthanum-based formula designed to quickly bind and remove phosphates from your marine aquarium. This highly effective product helps maintain a balanced aquatic environment, preventing excessive algae growth and enhancing the overall health of your reef system.

With its powerful action, MODERN REEF P- is ideal for reef aquariums with efficient skimming systems, ensuring phosphate removal without disrupting water chemistry stability.

Key Benefits

  • Rapid and effective phosphate removal thanks to its lanthanum-based formulation.
  • Improves water quality and prevents unwanted algae overgrowth.
  • Optimizes aquarium conditions for healthy coral growth.
  • Easy dosing with precise guidelines to avoid dangerous chemical fluctuations.
  • Compatible with skimming systems, ensuring effective phosphate filtration.

How to Use

  • Initial dosage: Add 0.1-0.25 ml of MODERN REEF P- per 100 liters of water.
  • Phosphate reduction effect: 1 ml reduces phosphate by 0.1 mg/l in 100 liters of water.
  • Gradual reduction: Do not lower phosphate levels by more than 0.01-0.025 mg/l per day to prevent stress to marine organisms.
  • Ideal dosing point: At the beginning of the sump or before the skimmer, to optimize phosphate removal.
  • Alkalinity monitoring: The application may slightly reduce alkalinity; regular water parameter checks are recommended.

Tip for Optimal Dosing

  • Dilute the product in RO water and use a dosing pump for an even daily distribution.
  • This method prevents sudden phosphate fluctuations, protecting the aquarium’s stability.

Important Notice!

  • MODERN REEF P- may affect certain flatworms from the Waminoa and Concolutriloba genera, as well as Acropora-eating flatworms.
  • If present, remove as many flatworms as possible to minimize toxin release into the water.
  • Do not reduce phosphate levels below 0.02 mg/l, to maintain an optimal balance in the aquarium
