How to Use
- Initial dosage: Add 0.1-0.25 ml of MODERN REEF P- per 100 liters of water.
- Phosphate reduction effect: 1 ml reduces phosphate by 0.1 mg/l in 100 liters of water.
- Gradual reduction: Do not lower phosphate levels by more than 0.01-0.025 mg/l per day to prevent stress to marine organisms.
- Ideal dosing point: At the beginning of the sump or before the skimmer, to optimize phosphate removal.
- Alkalinity monitoring: The application may slightly reduce alkalinity; regular water parameter checks are recommended.
Tip for Optimal Dosing
- Dilute the product in RO water and use a dosing pump for an even daily distribution.
- This method prevents sudden phosphate fluctuations, protecting the aquarium’s stability.
Important Notice!
- MODERN REEF P- may affect certain flatworms from the Waminoa and Concolutriloba genera, as well as Acropora-eating flatworms.
- If present, remove as many flatworms as possible to minimize toxin release into the water.
- Do not reduce phosphate levels below 0.02 mg/l, to maintain an optimal balance in the aquarium
