This food is a key element of the Bassleer Anti-EI Method, a feeding strategy that helps repel parasites such as Ichthyophthirius (freshwater ich) and Cryptocarion (marine ich), allowing treatments to work more effectively during the parasite’s free-swimming stage. While not a drug, this food acts as a natural deterrent and strengthens the fish’s immune system.
