Anubias Barteri is a very variable plant with many different variants. The glabra variety is sometimes incorrectly called Anubias lanceolata. The narrow, elliptical and blunt-edged leaves are typical for this vigorous aquarium plant. When growing submerged in the aquarium it remains significantly smaller than in the emerged form. Additional water movements, for example near a filter, promote growth significantly. The culture and also the care are very simple and therefore it is very suitable for beginners. Anubias barteri var. glabra can also be planted in a natural substrate.
