DennerleAquarium Starter Rapid is a highly effective product for starting new aquariums quickly and safely.

It consists of two components:

1. Live filter bacteria – they settle in the filter material and gravel and immediately begin to break down harmful substances. The bacterial solution is highly concentrated and contains 500 million bacteria per milliliter in the packaging

2. Nutrient solution that promotes the formation of bacteria – the specially developed "bacteria food" ensures rapid growth and reproduction.

Operation:

Effective nitrification bacteria (Nitrosomonas, Nitrobacter) first convert harmful ammonia into nitrite and then into nitrate, thereby purifying the water.
Denitrifying bacteria (Paracoccus) convert nitrate in the anaerobic areas of the aquarium (especially on the bottom and in the filter) into nitrogen gas, thereby reducing the nitrate content.
Filter bacteria simultaneously remove plant and food remains, fish waste, organic clouding agents, proteins, fats, carbohydrates, organic pollutants and organic sludge.
