HYGROPHILA LANCEA ARAGUAIA
Recently reclassified; the old name H. spec. Araguaia is no longer valid. This is a dwarf plant and produces narrow, red-brown leaves underwater. Sometimes it crawls on the substrate forming a carpet. In the emerged state the plant often produces small indigo-colored flowers. Plants grow much better with decent light and CO2 supply. This new Hygrophila appears very fragile and is best used in a larger group. In a Nano Cube, just a few stems are enough to add a touch of color.
