ERIOCAULON CINEREUM
The genus Eriocaulon is very extensive with about 400 -800 species. Eriocaulon cinereum is a real rarity for plant lovers. Good lighting, very soft water and high CO2 levels are important parameters for a successful culture. The small, hedgehog-like habit of the plant is ideal for the foreground of aquariums of any size. The plants look particularly beautiful in a shallow carpet of Hemianthus callitrichoides 'Cuba' or Micranthemum tweediei 'Montecarlo'. Due to its diminutive size, Eriocaulon is often used in aquascaping - as a small botanical highlight, so to speak!
