Didiplis diandra is a particularly colorful stem plant native to the eastern United States. The submerged needle-like leaflets are arranged transversely in opposition to each other, which gives the plant a very delicate appearance. Provide good lighting and sufficient fertilization to ensure beautiful colors in all shades of orange and red. A good supply of CO2 promotes significantly better and faster growth. To support colorful growth, also provide the plants with iron and micronutrients. Didiplis contrasts beautifully with purely green stem plants such as Rotala spec. Green or when added to other colorful plants.
