QUICK VAC PRO
Thanks to this battery-operated waste vacuum cleaner, it is possible to clean the bottom of the aquarium in complete convenience and regardless of the water change intervals.
The suction power of this tool is set in such a way as to remove dirt without generating excessive turbulence on the bottom
Inside there is a filter compartment that retains dirt, thus returning the water to the aquarium regenerated and clean.
The device is supplied complete with batteries
A Waste vacuum cleaner components:
1) battery compartment cover with button
2) battery compartment
3) locking button
4) pump chamber with fan
5) filter element
6) interlocking
7) lid (top, bottom)
8) suction nozzle
9) extension nozzle.
B Inserting the batteries (4 x 1.5 V):
remove the battery compartment cover by pressing the locking button and insert the batteries according to the +/- polarity marking.
Check that the batteries are well positioned in their seats. Otherwise the impeller rotates in the opposite direction with little power.
Make sure that no moisture enters the compartment and that the seal is correctly in place when closing. The unlock button should then snap back into place with an audible click.
The included alkaline batteries are sufficient for a work cycle of approximately 4-5 hours. If replaceable nickel-cadmium batteries are used, the working cycle will be 2 hours.
C Cleaning the bottom:
after having positioned the suction nozzle and, if necessary, the extension nozzle, on the pump chamber, the appliance is ready for use.
To clean the backdrop, move the layer to a depth of 1 cm using the suction nozzle. During this process the sediment is separated and remains in the pump's suction stream. In this way the useful bacteria located in the deepest layer of the seabed remain intact.
The sediment vacuum cleaner can be conveniently switched on and off with the waterproof button. When it turns off, the aspirated gravel returns to the bottom. Clean the bottom on the same point until the water from the suction nozzle is clear.
D + E Cleaning the filter element:
press the two side snaps and extract the filter element. The device can remain in the aquarium. Remove one or two filter element covers and carefully clean the dirt sucked in under running water.
Then close the filter element with the covers and insert it so that the lower part enters first and then close it upwards until it locks.
After use in sea water, wash the appliance carefully with running water.
To clean the appliance, remove the nozzles and the filter element, remove the fan and wash everything well with running water.
Warning: leave the battery compartment closed
