KH KEEPER PLUS

KH Keeper is an electronic carbonate hardness meter that allows real-time, constant and extremely reliable monitoring of the KH value present in a marine aquarium.
High-quality components and precise control algorithms ensure that the device provides highly accurate readings. If the Kh drops too quickly between two subsequent measurements, the device repeats the test and if the result remains confirmed, a notification is sent to the user.
No central computer required. Advanced control and ease of use. All Reef Factory devices are manageable via the same "Smart Reef" app; the device alerts you, via SMS or email, when the KH level is out of the preset range or when KH levels are changing too quickly, either increasing than decreasing.
KH Keeper measures the carbonate hardness of water samples taken directly from the tank.
Readiigs can be scheduled up to 12 times a day
Real-time status is shown on the homepage of the Smart Reef App (for iOS and Android) along with the history of previous readings.
KH corrections can be made using a Reef Factory dosing pump (purchased separately).
Readings are performed using a reagent whose mixing ratio is 1L/9L (rosmotic water).
In practice, the device draws water from the tank via one of the built-in dose meters and subsequently withdraws the reagent (which must be diluted and stored in a container) through another dose meter; it then carries out the KH measurement using the built-in electrode and stores the measurement results in the reading history on the App; if the reading presents anomalies, a report is sent to the user.
The device is also equipped with a system of LED lights that indicate the status of the KH in real time: if the LED lights up green, it means that the carbonate hardness value is within the preset safety range; otherwise the color of the LED changes from green to red, signaling the anomaly; during measurement, however, the LED turns blue.
