Anubias Barteri 'Mini Coin' – Compact Aquarium Plant for Nano Tanks, In Vitro Cultivation

Anubias Barteri 'Mini Coin' is a tiny, compact variety of Anubias discovered at the Tropica nursery in Denmark. Among the smallest Anubias types, each leaf is smaller than a fingertip, making it ideal for nano tanks or as fine detail in larger aquascapes.

Easy to care for and slow-growing, this plant thrives in low to medium light and prefers to be attached to wood or rocks. Avoid burying the rhizome, as this can lead to rot. It naturally forms dense, round green leaf clusters and can be split and replanted elsewhere as it expands.

In Vitro Cultivation – 1-2-Grow!
Tropica’s 1-2-Grow! plants are sterile, lab-grown, and guaranteed to be free of snails, algae, and pesticides, making them safe for shrimp and sensitive fish.

How to Plant:

  • Carefully remove from the cup.

  • Rinse off gel under running water.

  • Divide into 6–8 small portions using scissors.

  • Plant on wood, rocks, or substrate using tweezers, keeping the rhizome above the substrate.
