APONOGETON CRISPUS

Aponogeton crispus from Sri Lanka looks great in any aquarium with its light green, wavy, transparent leaves. Leaves 25-50 cm and the plant grows up to 15-25 cm wide.

It is undemanding, although growth is always best in soft, slightly acidic water with a nutritious bottom. In such conditions the plant produces a mass of leaves, and flowers very frequently in optimal conditions. Aponogeton crispus is usually found in ponds that are filled with water only in the rainy season, but does not require a rest period in the aquarium
