• Nyos® PURE® contains ultra-pure ingredients of pharmaceutical grade
• Nyos® PURE® contains sodium chloride which is purified in a multi-stage process. As a result, it is purer than salts obtained by evaporating sea water.

For immediate use:

Bridal water freshly enriched with Nyos® PURE® can be used within a few minutes. The common "maturation of freshly prepared brine" simply means that contaminants still have to precipitate into insoluble compounds. With Nyos® PURE® this is not necessary due to the purity of the ingredients.

Solves problems:

Thanks to the high quality and purity of the freshly prepared brine, even large water changes of 50% are possible in the event of problems in the aquarium.

Uniformity

Special mixing process:

A special mixing process, also used in the food and pharmaceutical industries, creates consistent batch quality with Nyos® PURE® and a highly homogeneous mixture.

Harmonized particle size:

The particle size of the ingredients prevents the mixture from separating in the bucket. As a result, the salt levels in the upper and lower part of the bucket are virtually identical. For example, the levels do not change during use of the bucket.

Natural seawater as a model

With Nyos® PURE® salt, we have set ourselves the goal of replicating the composition of natural seawater as closely as possible. Based on our experience, this is also the best guarantee for a successful marine aquarium.

Nyos® PURE® has the following main levels at a salinity of 35%:

Carbonate hardness/alkalinity: approx. 8.5 dHK

Magnesium: approx. 1,350 mg/l

Sulfur: approx. 900 mg/l

Calcium: approx. 435 mg/l

Potassium: approx. 400 mg/l

Bromium: approx. 62 mg/l

Strontium: approx. 8 mg/l

Boron: approx. 4.5 mg/l

Excessively high levels are not necessary:

Nyos® PURE® does not contain excessively high levels of calcium, magnesium and carbonate hardness. Even with larger water changes, the levels of the main components will not increase.

Optimized for corals

Long-term tests in coral farms have shown that the high purity and near-natural levels of Nyos PURE® have a positive effect on coral growth.

Improved polyp expansion

The polyp expansion of SPS, LPS and soft corals is improved both day and night.

Improved color development

Corals outline their colors more clearly.

Promotes growth

The use of Nyos® PURE® leads to an increased formation of growth tips. Overall, it has a positive effect on growth. The Acropora coral forms basal discs in a very short time.

Long-term stable

In the case of salt mixtures with too high levels, calcium, carbonate hardness and magnesium can precipitate as insoluble compounds when freshly prepared salt water is stored. This results in an undesirable white precipitate. Since the values ​​of Nyos® PURE® are in the normal range, this effect does not occur, so the salt water can be stored for a longer period of time.

No promotion of algae and cyanobacteria growth

The organic additives in the salt can, in the case of large water changes or new installations, lead to unwanted algae and cyanobacteria growth. Nyos® PURE® does not contain any organic additives.

One salt for everything

With regard to its composition, Nyos® PURE® is prepared in such a way that it can be used for small and large water changes. It is equally suitable for a new installation and for regular water changes.
