Antiphosphates 2 is a selective absorbent resin formulated for freshwater and marine aquariums.
The package contains 2 ready-to-use permeable socks, containing 50 grams of product each.
Phosphates are a waste product of fish and invertebrates, they are not particularly toxic but their excess can cause serious problems with unwanted algal growth.
In fresh water the maximum tolerated level is 1 mg/L. Each sock is able to quickly absorb up to 3,000 mg of phosphates from the water.
The product eliminates unwanted algal growth factors. When saturated, it does not release absorbed phosphates, is six times more effective than aluminum-based materials and does not contain heavy metals
Rinse the pre-packaged disposable sock thoroughly with running water and place it in a compartment of the aquarium filter. Approximately one sock is sufficient for an aquarium of up to 100 litres, on average populated and with little vegetation, for a period of three months.
