1-2-GROW! BUCEPHALANDRA KEDAGANG – Slow-Growing Epiphyte Plant from Borneo for Nano and Planted Aquariums
Bucephalandra Kedagang is a rare and elegant epiphyte from Borneo, offered in Tropica’s sterile 1-2-Grow! cup, ideal for detailed aquascaping and safe for sensitive aquarium inhabitants.
It features long, narrow dark green leaves speckled with white dots, and red rhizomes similar to Bucephalandra Red. When fully submerged, it often develops a bluish metallic sheen, adding vibrant color contrast and natural charm to your layout.
Bucephalandra Kedagang grows slowly and steadily. It should not be planted in the substrate, but attached to hardscape like driftwood or rocks, where it will naturally anchor over time. Thanks to its lab-grown sterile cultivation, it is free of algae, snails, and pesticides, making it safe for shrimp, fish, and other delicate species.
Each 1-2-Grow! cup contains a dense tissue culture, ready to be rinsed and divided into 6–8 portions before planting with tweezers. It thrives in moderate light, good flow, and with CO₂ and nutrient supplementation.
