AmGuard™ quickly, effectively and safely eliminates toxic free ammonia. It can be used safely during normal operation of the tub and is ideal for dealing with unexpected emergency situations. AmGuard™ reacts to contact with free ammonia within minutes and does not alter pH. There are two types of ammonia: free and ionized. Only free ammonia is toxic. Traditional test kits used for ammonia detection convert all ammonia to free ammonia by raising the pH to a value between 12 and 14; AmGuard™ does not work at this pH level and therefore a false-positive result would be obtained. Use Ammonia Alert™ or MultiTest™: Free & Total Ammonia for direct monitoring of free ammonia levels. AmGuard™ also eliminates chlorine and chloramines. Suitable for fresh water and sea water

Instructions for Use
Use one cap (5 ml) for every 200 L of water daily or based on the quantity of ammonia to be reduced (the cap of the 2L and 4 L formats is equivalent to 10ml of product).
