ZEOvit® is a balanced mix of zeolites. The duration of the ZEOvit® mixture depends on the nutrient load in the tank and in any case can never exceed 6-12 weeks.
The quantity of ZEOvit® indicated is 1 liter for every 400 liters of tank capacity. The flow of water through the filter material should be 200 – 400 liters per hour. The flow must pass through a ZEOvit® filter (the flow direction must be from bottom to top) for easy and quick cleaning of the material from deposits.
1. In an environment where aerobic and anaerobic conditions alternate, microorganisms/bacteria will absorb nitrates and phosphates.
2. This can be achieved by alternating the zeolite reactor pump in on/off cycles lasting 3 hours (the material must not be exposed to air while the pump is off).
3. Zeolite absorbs ammonium and ammonia, thus preventing the formation of nitrites and nitrates.
4. A natural color and growth of all corals is obtained
5. There are tanks with extremely clear water.
