Fully synthetic sea salt created with coral breeding in mind. The composition of the salt has been selected to create the best conditions for marine animals. The micro and macro elements contained in it fully satisfy the needs of corals for elements necessary for their proper development and coloration. The salt does not contain bromides, and can be used in filtration systems with the help of ozone. When setting up new marine aquariums for the first animals, we recommend not adding them earlier than 10-14 days after filling the aquarium.
Preparation method: you need to dissolve the salt in the prepared demineralized water. The water temperature should be about 24°C (75°F). To obtain a salinity of 33 ppt you need to dissolve about 3.8 kg (8.4 lbs) in 100 liters (27 US gal.) of water. Aquaforest recommends keeping salinity between 33 and 35 ppt. Stir the solution vigorously for about 15 minutes, after complete dissolution and full clarity the salted water is ready for use. Store the salt in a dry and dark place. The dissolved salt must be used within 48 hours. Keep out of reach of children! For use in aquariums only! Not for human consumption!
