Prime™ is a complete, concentrated conditioner for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. Prime™ eliminates chlorine, and ammonia, converts ammonia into a non-toxic form that is promptly removed by the filter. Prime™ allows the filter to remove nitrites and nitrates more easily and also renders all heavy metals present in tap water harmless. It has no effect on pH. It can be used during start-up and whenever water is added or replaced.
How to use:
Use 5 ml for every 200 l of new water. This dose allows you to eliminate approximately 0.8 mg/l of ammonia, 1.2 mg/l of chlorides or 3.3 mg/l of chlorine. For small doses, remember that each notch on the cap is equivalent to approximately 1 ml. It can be added directly to the aquarium, but better results are achieved if added to the water before placing it in the aquarium. If added directly to the aquarium, calculate the dose based on the volume of the aquarium. Any sulfur odor is normal.
In case of very high concentrations of chloride, a double dose can be used safely. In the presence of temperatures above 30°C and low levels of chlorine and ammonia, use half a dose.
