Excital is the new way to remove cyanobacteria without using antibiotics or copper-containing compounds.
Cyanobacteria (red slime algae) often occurs if water temperatures rise, sometimes in combination with a high level of organics in the water or decaying bottom material. Excital effectively eliminates cyanobacteria. Excital is easy and safe to use and is harmless to fish and corals. If there is a severe infestation, it is recommended to first remove the cyanobacteria by hand as much as possible and then add Excital. If there is a severe infestation, Excital treatment can be prolonged for a few days, even with a double dose

Dosage: for 5 days 10 ml per 40 liters per day. Visible results within 10 days.
The first few days are necessary to build enough bacteria to fight and replace the red algae. This process takes time. After 5-7 days the result will be visible. In some cases a second treatment is necessary.
