ELIMI-PHOS
500ml
Excessive phosphate concentrations in the water often lead to reduced growth of corals and aquatic plants as well as unwanted algae growth. Therefore, the phosphate concentration in the aquarium must always be monitored and maintained in an optimal range for the respective organisms. In coral reef aquariums, the optimal range of phosphate levels is between 0.02 and 0.1 mg / l. If the phosphates in the aquarium water have been enriched by the input of food, the addition of nutrients or the breaking of corals, it is sometimes necessary to quickly lower the phosphate concentration to the recommended ranges.
ELIMI-PHOS RAPID is a highly effective lanthanum-based solution that quickly binds and effectively removes phosphates from the water. The phosphate concentration can then be reduced in a short time to a range between 0.2-0.4 mg / l. The water quality improves rapidly, the corals radiate new colors and become stronger.
Applications and Dosage:
500 ml of ELIMI-PHOS RAPID binds approximately 5 g of phosphate, i.e. adding 10 ml to a 100 l aquarium reduces the phosphate concentration by up to 1 mg/l.
Measure the phosphate concentration in your aquarium and calculate the required amount of ELIMI-PHOS RAPID. We recommend a reduction of the phosphate concentration by a maximum of 0.1 mg/l per day. Therefore, for example, a maximum of 1 ml of ELIMI-PHOS RAPID per 100 l should be dosed on a daily basis. Every organism requires small amounts of phosphate. Therefore, a reduction of the phosphate content to 0.00 mg/l is not recommended. In marine aquariums, values of 0.02 - 0.15 mg/l phosphate should be considered, in reef aquariums 0.02 - 0.1 mg/l phosphate are optimal.
