Carbo Ex ATI is a pre-filter cartridge, which is used for the removal of CO2 in the skimmer.
The air entering the skimmer is purified and this leads to an increase in the pH in your saltwater aquarium and better skimming.
The unique feature of this product: the sales packaging is already at the same time the filter cartridge! Unscrew the lid, connect the skimmer to the terminal connector inside the jar and... ready!
The ATI Carbo Ex air filter is suitable for small and large skimmers. Even on skimmers with 3000 l / h of air it is not a problem to mount this CO filter, because it has a very low flow resistance. This is very important, as otherwise the characteristics of your skimmer could be modified with dispersion pumps (needle impeller, latex impellers).
Thanks to the 1000g of material inside (approximately 1.5 litres) there is a longer life compared to filters with a smaller volume. Through the transparent tube you can always see if the filter material has already turned purple. The purple color indicates that the product is out of stock and you can replace it and buy a new one.
