Red Sea's Aiptasia-X is a patented, reef-safe formula for the simple and effective control of Aiptasia.

Aiptasia-X is a unique blend of natural elements in a thick, sticky mixture that globulates upon contact with aquarium water. It is easily injected into the mouth of the anemone and stimulates the anemone to ingest the material without it retreating into the rock bed. The adhesive particles effectively seal the mouth and mouth of the anemone, preventing the release of planulae.

Within minutes of ingesting Aiptasia-X, the anemone will implode and be removed along with the planulae.

Aiptasia-X particles will not affect sessile coral polyps and will effectively treat Aiptasia growing in coral colonies.

Excess Aiptasia-X will decompose over time without causing damage to the reef.

Instructions for use:

Before using the Aiptasia-X treatment in the aquarium, turn off all devices that cause water movement and allow to act for approximately 15 minutes after administering the Aiptasia-X material.

Shake the bottle vigorously.
Secure the needle to the syringe by rotating it all the way down
Insert the needle into the bottle and fill the syringe with Aiptasia-X material.
Slowly bring the tip of the needle close to the mouth cavity of the Aiptasia anemone to be treated, carefully releasing small amounts of material: Allow the anemone's tentacles to close on the needle.
Spread the solution over the entire surface of the mouth cavity of the anemone until the tentacles begin to withdraw from the needle. It is necessary to cover the entire cavity with the material to prevent the release of planulae.
To treat small colonies of Aiptasia, spread the solution over all the infected air.
Make sure to treat a large number of anemones in a single treatment.
If you need to fill the syringe with more material, make sure there is no salt inside the syringe before inserting it into the Aiptasia-X bottle.
The solution residue can be left to decompose naturally in the aquarium.
After completing the treatment, rinse the syringe with boiling water to remove residual material and avoid blockages.

Store Aiptasia-X at room temperature.
