The Green Reset 40 requires one 20W lamp, while the Green Reset 60 requires two 20W lamps. This UV-C germicidal tube plays a key role in water disinfection, eliminating bacteria, viruses, suspended algae, and other pathogens that can compromise pond health.
Emitting ultraviolet light at 254 nm, the lamp effectively disrupts the DNA of microorganisms, stopping their reproduction and keeping water clear and biologically safe. For best performance, it is recommended to replace the lamp every 6,000–8,000 operating hours. To preserve its effectiveness, avoid touching the glass with bare hands, as oils can reduce the lifespan of the outer coating.
