Flourish Excel is an easy-to-use organic carbon source. All plants need carbon; this is normally released by carbon dioxide CO2 but can also be obtained via relatively simple organic compounds (via photosynthesis). Since both processes occur simultaneously, substantial benefit can be derived from the use of Flourish Excel and the simultaneous input of carbon dioxide. Flourish Excel also promotes the stabilization of Fe+2 ferrous ions, which are more easily assimilated by plants than Fe+3 ferric ions. Flourish Excel is an essential component of the Flourish fertilizer line. It does not contain phosphates or nitrates
How to use:
After a significant water change equal to at least 40% of the total volume, 5ml can be dosed for every 40l. 1 ml per 40l can be dosed daily or every other day. The dosage can be increased slowly in advanced aquariums.
