Care Bacter contains bacteria on a natural powdered Maerl lime substrate, keeping freshwater and saltwater aquariums clean
Effects:
1) The presence of various green algae and thread algae is greatly reduced. The aquarium glass no longer becomes covered with algae as quickly.
The bacteria introduced are competitors of the algae mentioned.
2) Nitrate and phosphate compounds are reduced.
The bacteria take nitrate and phosphate compounds as nourishment and at the end of their life they are assimilated by the corals or collected by the skimmer or filter.
3) Corals and fish are more vital.
The bacteria and other ingredients supplement the defense capabilities, reduce the risk of diseases, especially infections by Vibrio.
4) The aquarium is noticeably cleaner and organic deposits (detritus) are visibly reduced.
The bacteria can use the detritus as nourishment.
Bacteria are non-pathogenic for humans and the environment.
Does not contain toxic materials.
Overdosing is not possible!
The product is not suitable for consumption!

Application:
For the first administration, we recommend a “shock therapy” (the measuring cup is supplied with the product), which effectively and quickly leads to the desired positive result:
In aquariums with a volume between 500 and 1000 litres: 10 ml per week (corresponds to 4 measuring cups) for a period of 2 weeks.
In aquariums with a volume between 100 and 500 litres: 5 ml per week (corresponds to 2 measuring cups) for a period of 2 weeks.
In aquariums with a volume between 30 and 100 litres: 2.5 ml per week (corresponds to 1 measuring cup) for a period of 2 weeks.
During administration, we recommend temporarily switching off the mechanical filter system and the skimmer in marine aquariums for 10 minutes and adding the dose of product directly to the biotope in the aquarium.
Normal dosage after the first administration:
In aquariums with a volume between 500 and 1000 liters: 2.5 ml per week (corresponds to 1 measuring spoon).
In aquariums with a volume between 30 and 500 liters: 1.25 ml per week (corresponds to half a measuring spoon).
During administration, we recommend temporarily switching off the mechanical filter system and the skimmer in marine aquariums for 10 minutes and adding the dose of product directly to the biotope in the aquarium.
