Each carbon molecule is used by different strains of microorganisms, while maintaining the right ratio of carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus needed for each step.
The complex includes other bound organic elements that are important stimulators at each stage of the reduction process.
These metallic and non-metallic elements guarantee constant bacterial multiplication and a complete reduction of nitrates into nitrogen and the absorption and utilization of phosphate by the bacteria.
Fine regulation of nitrates and phosphates is possible with targeted NO3:PO4-X dosing and ensures gradual and targeted changes and accurate maintenance of nutrient levels, and prevents the destruction of the zooxanthellae population which can cause UV shock and " hunger" of the corals
