OSMO HEP 75 GPD 1:2 is a professional high efficiency reverse osmosis system designed to produce ultra pure water with significantly reduced waste compared to traditional RO units. Developed by Forwater, it represents a new generation of low waste, high yield and high purity filtration systems, ideal for marine aquariums, reef tanks, advanced freshwater setups and all applications where top quality water is required.
Thanks to its 1:2 efficiency design, the system produces 1 liter of RO water with only 2 liters of waste, saving up to 50 percent water compared to standard membranes. With only 3 bar of pressure, OSMO HEP is capable of producing 250–290 liters per day without the need for a booster pump. The high rejection membrane combined with the post RO deionization stage ensures 98–99 percent salt rejection and exceptionally pure output water.
Built entirely in Italy using NSF certified components, LLDPE John Guest tubing and quick connect fittings, the unit guarantees maximum reliability and long term durability. Transparent filter housings with dual gaskets allow easy monitoring of prefilters and ensure perfect sealing. The integrated Forwater FlushValve system increases membrane lifespan and long term efficiency.
The post RO deionization stage uses SILCO high purity resin specifically designed to remove silicic acid, phosphates, nitrates and all remaining traces of metals such as copper, lead and other harmful contaminants. The resin is certified by independent laboratories to ensure safety and purity.
