The CO2 bubbles come out of the opening at the bottom of the Flipper and go up along the guide. In this way, part of the CO2 already dissolves in the water. The rest collects in the collection tank and from there moves into the water. The safety structure of the collection tank ensures that the small quantities of CO2 normal for Nano aquariums actually dissolve, but at the same time that large quantities of unwanted CO2 are automatically expelled through the venting of improper gases
